A positive TCT indicates that a lesion has occurred in the cervical epithelium. This lesion may be a low-grade lesion, a high-grade lesion, or a cervical cancer, which is why the TCT result is positive. Depending on the degree of the lesion, different treatments are given in the clinic. If it is a low grade lesion, physical therapy of the cervix is needed, such as local laser treatment or cryotherapy, which is mainly to make the local lesion tissue necrotic, fall off and grow new tissue to achieve the purpose of treatment. If the lesion is of high grade, conical hysterectomy is recommended. If it is cervical cancer, it is recommended to give surgical treatment as soon as possible and decide whether the lymph nodes in the pelvis need to be cleared according to the degree of lesion.
