The diagnosis and treatment of TCM is based on the four diagnoses: looking, smelling, asking, and cutting, combined with tongue and pulse signs. Clinically, amenorrhea is divided into five types: the first is the weakness of qi and blood; the second is the deficiency of kidney qi; the third is the deficiency of yin and blood; the fourth is the stagnation of qi and blood; the fifth is the blockage of phlegm and dampness. In clinical practice, the more common types are Qi and blood weakness and kidney qi deficiency. In clinical diagnosis and treatment, we should not just treat deficiency, we must distinguish deficiency from actuality. The treatment must be based on clinical evidence, not on generalizations. If you have amenorrhea, you must go to a regular hospital for examination and investigation before treatment, do not delay the treatment.
