There is no medical term for unclean blood, and unclean blood is generally considered to be bacteremia caused by bacteria entering the bloodstream. According to different causes, bacteremia can be divided into primary and secondary.
1. Primary bacteremia: it is commonly caused by improper operation of hemodialysis and vascular puncture and tube placement, resulting in microorganisms invading the blood. The main pathogenic bacteria are gram-negative bacilli, such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pneumocystis pneumoniae, Escherichia coli and so on. It can cause local arteritis, phlebitis and other diseases.
2. Secondary bacteremia: such as postoperative wound infection (the wound is contaminated, pathogenic bacteria can enter the blood through the wound), if the bacteria in the blood flow with the blood through the human body systems, it may cause a variety of lesions, such as the central nervous system can cause meningitis, brain abscess, the respiratory system can cause pneumonia, abdominal cause peritonitis, the urinary system cause inflammation of the urinary tract, and so on.
In addition to the above diseases, bacteremia can also cause liver abscess, lung abscess and other diseases. It is recommended to go to the hospital in time, improve the examination to clarify the cause of the disease, and then give targeted treatment.
