What are the diseases that cause pulmonary hypertension

Diseases that cause pulmonary hypertension include connective tissue disease, heart disease, lung disease, and some infectious diseases.
The mechanism of connective tissue disease causing pulmonary hypertension is not clear, different connective tissue disease, the probability of causing pulmonary hypertension is not the same, the more common are systemic lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, mixed connective tissue disease, rheumatoid arthritis, vasculitis, dermatomyositis, desiccation syndrome and so on.

Specific infections such as schistosomiasis and AIDS can also cause pulmonary hypertension.
