1. Case 1 The author saw a middle-aged male patient in August 2012, and learned from his medical history that the patient was injured in a fall in June 2012 due to the building of a house, and he was in a coma at that time. The patient did not have any liver discomfort before the fall, but the liver cancer was accidentally detected by CT scan after the fall.2. Case 2 The author saw an elderly male patient in May 2015, who was admitted to the hospital due to cerebral infarction in November 2010, and liver cancer was detected by CT scan of the chest. Case 3: The author saw an elderly patient in April 2015, who was found to have liver cancer by ultrasound in June 2012 at a local hospital without any discomfort in the liver area at that time. Eight interventions (hepatic artery cannulation chemoembolization) and five anhydrous alcohol intratumoral injections (PEIT for short) were performed. The patient refused to come to the hospital for review because he did not have any discomfort at home and could eat and drink, thinking that he was not sick, but his family insisted the patient to come. on April 27, 2015, the liver enhancement MRI revealed that the cancer mass was enlarged and invaded the veins, which was advanced. The patient relaxed his vigilance precisely because he did not have any discomfort and did not insist on taking herbal medicine. The diet also did not strictly follow the liver cancer diet regimen, which led to the spread of cancer cells. The analysis of the above case gives two insights: firstly, the absence of any physical discomfort does not mean the absence of liver cancer. Secondly, when there is no physical discomfort, many patients relax their vigilance and think that they are well or not sick anymore, which leads to relaxing the treatment and giving up the all-round comprehensive treatment. This gives cancer cells the opportunity to breathe and spread. From another perspective, it is still the weakness of human nature that has not been overcome.
