Blood pressure of 148 mmHg is abnormal and belongs to the diagnostic criteria for hypertension. the current diagnostic criteria for hypertension in China is a systolic blood pressure of ≥ 140 mmHg or (and) a diastolic blood pressure of ≥ 90 mmHg in adults in a quiet state. when monitoring blood pressure in general, if just one of the blood pressures reaches 148 mmHg, it needs to be rechecked again. The current recommendation is to measure blood pressure at the clinic more than 3 times on non-same day and the average value of blood pressure reaches the diagnostic criteria of hypertension as hypertension. Take care not to be emotionally excited or tense when monitoring blood pressure, and rest quietly for 5-10 minutes before measuring blood pressure without strenuous activity.
