How to treat bile reflux

The treatment of bile reflux is mainly to protect the gastric mucosa and accelerate bile removal through acid suppressants, gastric mucosa protectants and gastrointestinal dynamics drugs; ursodeoxycholic acid regulates the composition of bile and reduces the damaging effect of bile on the stomach, so as to reduce the symptoms caused by bile reflux. 1. Acid inhibitors: such as omeprazole, which can inhibit the secretion of hydrogen ions in the gastric epithelium, reduce the concentration of gastric acid in the stomach, and alleviate the erosive effect of gastric acid on the gastric wall. 2. Gastric mucosal protectants: such as aluminum sulfate, which can directly cover the damaged epithelium of the stomach, preventing gastric acid, bile and other harmful substances from continuing to invade the stomach wall. 3. Gastrointestinal stimulants: Mosapride is often used to strengthen the smooth muscle movement of the gastrointestinal tract, restore the coordinated movement of the stomach-pylorus-duodenum, and reduce bile reflux. 4. Ursodeoxycholic acid: it can make the main component of bile turn into ursodeoxycholic acid that can combine with the mucin in the gastric mucosa to form a protective film, accelerate the repair and growth of gastric mucosal epithelial cells, so as to reduce the bile refluxed into the stomach and gastric acid on the gastric mucosa damage. Bile reflux patients should go to the hospital in time, under the guidance of the doctor to choose the appropriate drug treatment. The use of the above drugs should follow the doctor’s instructions.
