There is a clear relationship between primary liver cancer and viral hepatitis B in China, about 25% of chronic viral hepatitis B patients are transformed into cirrhosis, and 8% of cirrhosis patients are eventually transformed into liver cancer, and bad habits such as long-term alcoholism, late night and overwork of hepatitis patients can accelerate cancerous transformation. In order to detect liver cancer at an early stage, we advocate that chronic hepatitis B patients should undergo liver ultrasound + blood AFP examination once every 3-6 months, especially for hepatitis B patients with family history of liver cancer, they should have regular medical checkups, and our hospital has a special tumor screening center, which can tell whether there is cancer in the body by taking 2ml of blood. So far, 85% of the clinically diagnosed liver cancer in China are at advanced stage, which is very difficult to cure. The main reason is that most of the liver cancer patients in China go to hospital only because of pain in liver area, abdominal distension, yellow skin staining, or finding abdominal lumps by themselves, and these symptoms are clinical manifestations of advanced liver cancer, while early liver cancer can be without any discomfort.
