What is a gravida

Staphylocytosis refers to the proliferation of placental chorionic trophoblast cells and high degree of interstitial edema after pregnancy, forming blisters of various sizes and resembling grapes in shape, divided into complete and partial staphylocytosis. It is a benign disease of the gestational trophoblast. A complete gravida means that the entire uterus is filled with placental chorionic trophoblasts without embryonic tissue. Partial gravidity refers to the presence of placental chorionic trophoblasts and embryonic tissue in the uterus, but most of the embryos are dead. The most common clinical presentation is vaginal bleeding after menopause, and some patients may have lower abdominal pain. Physical examination may reveal a significantly enlarged uterus, larger than a normal gestational uterus in the corresponding month of menopause. The serum HCG test is significantly elevated and is significantly higher than the corresponding value in the normal menopause month. In addition, the diagnosis of staphyloma can be confirmed by ultrasound examination, in which there is no gestational sac in the uterine cavity, but coarse dotted and falling snow-like echogenicity can be observed. Women with vitamin A deficiency and poor egg quality are susceptible to hyperemesis, so women should be aware of this. Once the diagnosis is confirmed, the uterus needs to be cleared immediately.
