How soon can I get pregnant after treatment for staph and malignant trophoblastic tumors?

  1. patients with gravida: another pregnancy can be considered one year after termination, while foreign data show that another pregnancy can be considered once follow-up is completed. 2. patients after trophoblastic tumor treatment: the effect of chemotherapy drugs on pregnancy remains controversial, but there is a clear relationship between the time of drug discontinuation and pregnancy outcome. The incidence of abnormal pregnancies (spontaneous abortions, stillbirths, recurrent staph) within 6 months of drug discontinuation has been reported in the literature to be significantly higher than the recommended pregnancy after >12 months of drug discontinuation. This suggests that chemotherapeutic drugs may increase the incidence of abnormal pregnancies and that the incidence of repeat staph is higher than in the normal population. Therefore, it is recommended that patients with fertility requirements should become pregnant 1 year after drug discontinuation, and post-pregnancy antenatal examinations should also be intensified after definite pregnancy to exclude the occurrence of recurrent trophoblastic disease.
