The effect of liver cancer interventional therapy ranks second among liver cancer treatment modalities and is second only to surgery, as follows: 1. for liver cancer that cannot be treated surgically: interventional therapy combined with drug treatment has remarkable effects; 2. for small liver cancer: that is, liver cancer below 3cm, the effect of interventional therapy is similar to that of surgery; 3. for liver cancer that recurs after surgery: interventional therapy can kill smaller tumors with minimally invasive effect; 4. for patients with high risk of recurrence and metastasis after surgery: intravascular interventional therapy can be used to minimize recurrence and metastasis after surgery.
