How long can you live after early liver cancer surgery?

The specific survival period of liver cancer after early surgery needs to be analyzed according to the pathological type of liver cancer, surgical method, postoperative care and physical and psychological quality, and most of them can be more than 5 years. Primary hepatocellular carcinoma is divided into primary and secondary. Early stage of primary hepatocellular carcinoma usually has no specific symptoms, no obvious positive signs or only similar to cirrhosis signs; early stage of secondary hepatocellular carcinoma may show stuffy and uncomfortable pain in upper abdomen or liver area, some of them may be accompanied by weakness, poor appetite, wasting or fever. If the tumor and surrounding metastatic lymph nodes can be completely removed in the early stage of liver cancer and enough liver tissues are preserved, most patients can survive for more than 5 years, and some patients can even be cured. Therefore, patients with liver cancer should achieve early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment. In order to prevent tumor recurrence and metastasis after surgery, they should actively cooperate with radiotherapy, chemotherapy and biological therapy after surgery, and need to review regularly, take medication according to medical prescriptions and maintain good living and eating habits, etc.
