Types of Hemangiomas

The types of hemangioma are capillary hemangioma, cavernous hemangioma and trapezoidal hemangioma.
1. Capillary hemangioma is composed of a large number of intertwined and dilated capillaries, which are flush with the skin surface or slightly elevated, with clear boundaries, irregular shape, and bright red or purplish-red plaques of different sizes.
2. Cavernous hemangioma is composed of blood sinuses lined with endothelial cells and enlarged blood vessel cavities. Usually there are no self-conscious symptoms, and it appears as a slow-growing mass with unclear boundary, no pressure pain, and greenish-purple color.
3. Trapezoidal hemangioma is formed by the anastomosis of dilated arteries and veins, which is in the form of rosary or earthworm, and there is a throbbing or trembling sensation when touched.
