Lymph nodes in retroperitoneum of pancreatic cancer belong to the description of lymph node status in imaging examination, and the corresponding status mainly includes two aspects, which are normal lymph nodes and metastatic lymph nodes. 1. Normal lymph nodes: Normal people have small lymph nodes in the retroperitoneum itself, with clear lymph node gates, clear demarcation of dermatomedulla, no obvious blood flow supply, and there will be no change in the review. 2. Metastatic lymph nodes: the lesion is spherical, with clear corticomedullary demarcation and obvious blood flow supply, which will increase in size during the process of review, and some of them will have the tendency of fusion. After the discovery of retroperitoneal lymph nodes of pancreatic cancer, it suggests that there may be localized retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis, which indicates that the progression of pancreatic cancer has been relatively late, and the difficulty of surgical radical treatment is very great. It needs to be further judged by clinical examination, mainly to check the possibility of metastasis. The prognosis of pancreatic cancer with obvious lymphatic metastasis is very poor, and most of them need to be treated with radiotherapy (e.g. gemcitabine, 5-fluorouracil, etc.) under the guidance of clinicians, which should not be neglected to avoid delaying the condition.
