Hemangioma: prednisone 2-5mg/kg/d daily dose or every other day dose for 3-6 months, dose and duration adjusted according to treatment response. K-M syndrome: hormone shock therapy: hydrocort 5-10mg/kg/d, intravenous drip for 1~2 weeks, change to oral prednisone if effective; may add interferon: 1~3 million u/m2 (body surface area)/d, daily intramuscular or subcutaneous injection, duration of treatment 6~12 months; may add vincristine: 0.05mg/kg, intravenous injection. Once a week x 4 times, then once a month x 4 to 6 times.
