If cervical tissue pathology is taken, it takes about 5 days for the pathology results to be available if there is cervical cancer. If it is done for cervical pre-cancer screening, it takes about 3 days for TCT and HPV virus testing, which are a method of cervical cancer screening. If the HPV virus is infected, the virus will easily invade the cervix and cause cervical lesions, which can be shown on the TCT. If the result of the examination shows cervical cancer, pelvic MRI and whole body examination are needed to assess the condition and if necessary, surgery and chemotherapy are required.
