Liver complications (VOD) usually present as hepatomegaly (liver pain), ascites, and weight gain of more than 5% of basal body weight. Secondary complications are uncommon. Hemorrhagic cystitis There are many potential risk factors for hemorrhagic cystitis, including aGVHD, unrelated donor transplants, specific pretreatment regimens (containing cyclophosphamide, isocyclic, marfalan, etc.), and infectious factors (e.g., BK virus, adenovirus, CMV, and JC virus). It usually manifests as increased frequency of urination, a feeling of incomplete urination i.e. poor defecation, and in severe cases, painful urination and hematuria of the naked eye. Therefore, after transplantation, patients should drink more water, intermittent infusion of intravenous propecia to improve immune function, and some antiviral drugs can also be used. AIDS-related NHL: The vast majority are highly progressive and highly malignant B-cell lymphomas with small anaplastic cell type, large cell and immunoblast type. These include primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL) and systemic lymphoma, the latter pathological histology is divided into 4 categories including: Burkitt and atypical Burkitt lymphoma, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), immunoblast lymphoma (with plasma cell-like differentiation) and primary exudative lymphoma (PEL). Graft-versus-host disease (i.e., rejection) Skin rejection manifests as pruritus and rash; the most frequent sites are the palms and soles of the feet Liver rejection has jaundice and abnormal liver function Intestinal rejection has abdominal pain and diarrhea Acute rejection appears within three months and chronic rejection appears after three months. Patients should pay attention to the occurrence of the above symptoms after transplantation. In addition, unclean diet can trigger intestinal rejection. It is important to follow the medication taken by the doctor. Various opportunistic infections Immune function is low after transplantation, and it takes about one year to recover gradually, so special care should be taken during this year to avoid going to public places, avoiding contact with family members and relatives with colds. It is recommended to refuse visits from friends and relatives during this year, to take some oral medication to prevent infection, and to consult a doctor immediately in case of fever.
