Trachoma is a common disease of the eye, also known as Chlamydia trachomatis conjunctivitis. It is a chronic infectious conjunctival inflammation. For the treatment of this disease, the following drugs are more commonly used in clinical practice: 1) 0.1% ophthalmic rifampicin drops; 2) 0.1% phthalbutamide eye drops; 3) sodium sulfacetamide eye drops. The duration of this disease is usually long, so the medication is maintained for at least 1-3 months. Drug use should only be discontinued after the symptoms have gradually decreased.
