What is endometrial adenocarcinoma?

Endometrial adenocarcinoma, a type of endometrial cancer, is an epithelial malignant lesion in women. Most of the lesions occur because of the high estrogen level in women’s body and the absence of progesterone to counteract it, the endometrium cannot exfoliate normally and abnormal proliferation of the endometrium occurs, which is secondary to the cancer. More commonly, polycystic ovary syndrome, anovulatory uterine bleeding, and estrogen-secreting ovarian tumors can lead to endometrial adenocarcinoma in women. Adenocarcinoma of the endometrium is a type of endometrial cancer and accounts for about 80% of all endometrial cancers. In most women, this condition is characterized by vaginal bleeding, abnormal vaginal discharge, pain in the lower abdomen, etc. It is usually treated with surgery.
