Endometrial cancer is mainly divided into stage I, II, III and IV. Early stage endometrial cancer is mainly stage I, middle stage endometrial cancer is mainly stage II, and advanced stage endometrial cancer is mainly stage III or stage IV. Early stage endometrial cancer is cancer confined to the endometrium, which is stage I. Stage II endometrial cancer is cancer of the endometrium in the uterine cavity that metastasizes to the cervix, which is called stage II endometrial cancer, and stage III endometrial cancer is cancer of the endometrium that goes out from the uterine cavity to the pelvic cavity, which is called stage III endometrial cancer. If endometrial cancer metastasizes to distant places, for example, to the lung or liver, this is called stage IV endometrial cancer. Therefore, the general stages of endometrial cancer are stage I, stage II, stage III and stage IV, and the gradual increase of the stage means that the severity of endometrial cancer should increase.
