Why gastroesophageal reflux disease causes heartburn

Gastroesophageal reflux is mainly diagnosed by clinical manifestations, the most prominent symptom is heartburn and acid reflux, the degree of performance varies from person to person, it occurs from its pathogenesis. There are three main reasons for the pathogenesis of gastroesophageal reflux: 1, the peristalsis of the esophagus, the reduction of the contouring ability; 2, the relaxation of the lower cardia sphincter; 3, gastric retention, obstruction of gastric emptying, slow emptying. It is mainly these three factors that cause retention of gastric contents, causing increased secretion of gastric acid and even reflux of bile and heartburn.
