From the clinical observation results and academic research, the treatment of liver cancer has actually been clear that it is a comprehensive treatment system mainly based on surgery. In other words, for liver cancer that has the chance of surgical resection, surgical operation should be performed first, while other corresponding adjuvant treatments, including interventional and radiotherapy, should be provided according to the patient’s condition. Only for those patients who are not suitable for surgery, or those who have lost the chance of surgery, interventional and other treatments should be considered, which are all palliative means. The so-called palliation is not complete, but only in a short extension of life.
