How long can you live with advanced lymphoma?

How long one can live with advanced malignant lymphoma cannot be generalized and is related to the type of lymphoma pathology, the patient’s underlying health, and whether or not aggressive and effective treatment has been administered. Malignant lymphoma can generally be divided into two types: Hodgkin’s lymphoma and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. If a patient has advanced Hodgkin’s lymphoma, there is generally no need to be overly stressed and it is sufficient to actively cooperate with the doctor for standard treatment. This is because Hodgkin’s lymphoma has become one of the curable tumors, and even patients with advanced stages still have a 60% chance of being cured and thus prolonging their survival. Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma is also divided into many pathological types. Those with high malignancy have a very poor prognosis and a short expected survival time, but some non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma with low malignancy have a survival time of 10 years or more with active treatment. Overall, malignant lymphoma is a large group of diseases, most of which are sensitive to chemotherapy and can still achieve good outcomes even in advanced stages if treated aggressively. It is recommended that patients with advanced malignant lymphoma must maintain a positive attitude and go to the hospital in time to actively cooperate with doctors to receive standardized treatment in order to improve prognosis, improve quality of life and prolong survival.
