How do I self-inject insulin?

  The goal of diabetes treatment is to enable patients to maintain the same life expectancy as normal people, and insulin-dependent diabetic patients need to administer their own insulin to achieve this goal. First determine the meal time, the injection should be 15 to 30 minutes before the meal.  2.Prepare the alcohol swab, injection device and insulin.  3.Check the insulin type agent again and double-check the quality of the liquid.  4.Select the injection site.  5.Disinfect the skin of the injection site with an alcohol cotton ball with a diameter of about 5cm range.  6.Insert the needle for insulin extraction vertically and quickly into the skin to make sure that the part of the needle enters the skin.  7.Try to draw with or without returning blood, if there is no returning blood, slowly push the needle handle and inject insulin into the body.  8.Pull out the needle quickly and use a dry cotton ball to lightly press the injection site without rubbing.  Contraindications to self-injection of insulin 1. People with motor impairment due to paralysis or muscle atrophy, etc.  2.People with high visual impairment due to retinopathy or other reasons.  3.People who lack the ability to prevent accidents due to mental disorders or low intelligence.  4.Persons with skin diseases or infectious skin diseases.  5.Persons with bleeding disorders.
