The early symptoms of mental illness, like other diseases, are light and atypical, and often go unnoticed or are not recognized as mental illnesses, thus delaying treatment and bringing adverse consequences to patients. Early recognition of psychosis and timely treatment can be very beneficial to the prognosis. Early symptoms can be manifested as follows: 1, personality changes: such as the original enthusiastic and lively people become cold to people, distant from others, withdrawn from the group, few words, good solitude, avoiding friends and family and hostile, lazy life, undisciplined. Or the original very educated people become rude, good temper, rude to others. 2. Behavioral changes: some show strange movements and behaviors, increased movements, dull and repetitive, purposeless; some behave slowly, live lazily, unable to work and take care of household chores; some collect some meaningless objects, or even carry around some fruit peels, waste paper and other unnecessary things; some repeatedly wash their hands or check doors, windows, gas switches, etc. 5.Lack of concentration, memory loss, often forgetting things, and reduced work efficiency. 6.Sensitive and suspicious: For example, some people suspect that others speak badly about them, and every word and action of others is insinuated against them; they even think that what is on TV, on the radio, in the newspaper is also related to them; some people feel that their colleagues, neighbors, and even their parents and brothers are harming them, and they are fearful and uneasy, and feel that everything around them has become unfavorable to them, etc. This kind of person is often convinced of his own ideas, and the persuasion and explanation of others cannot change his views. These symptoms above should be compared vertically, that is, compared with the person’s consistent performance in the past to see if there is an obvious change in mental state; at the same time, horizontal comparison should be done, that is, compared with the mental state of most normal people to see if there is an obvious difference; finally, attention should be paid to combine the person’s psychological background and the judgment of the situation at that time to detect abnormal mental symptoms early. Third, how to treat early? If mental changes are found, a detailed consultation and examination should be conducted in the psychiatric department of a regular hospital as soon as possible to determine whether the problem is mental or which kind of mental illness it belongs to, so as to achieve timely diagnosis and treatment. However, many family members find that their family members, friends or children have some mental abnormalities, but they take a chance and find some reasons to relieve themselves. For example, “is too tired to work or study, use the brain more degrees”, “encountered unpleasant things, can not think, think about the good”, “poor nutrition, body weakness” and so on, and then find The result is delayed time, delayed the disease, and lost the opportunity of early treatment.
