Can breast nodules be felt?

Breast nodules are relatively common benign breast diseases in clinical practice. Generally, breast nodules larger than 1 cm can indeed be palpated by physical examination. However, if the nodule is small and the patient is obese, with relatively small glandular tissue and more fatty tissue in the breast, the nodule may not always be palpable. The clinical examination of breast nodules is based on ultrasound, MRI, mammogram and other relevant examinations to clarify whether the breast is accompanied by nodules, as well as the volume, size, specific structure and nature of the nodules. For example, the higher the classification level, the higher the possibility of nodules becoming cancerous, and in this case, surgery is needed as soon as possible.
