Can breast nodules become cancerous?

Breast nodules are divided into malignant nodules and benign nodules. Malignant nodules are a manifestation of early cancer, while most benign nodules do not have the potential to become cancerous, but the details should be diagnosed by a specialist before a decision can be made. There are three types of breast nodules: breast nodules caused by breast hyperplasia, fibroadenomas among benign tumors, and breast nodules with malignant signs. The first two are generally not malignant, but if they increase more rapidly in a short period of time, such as within 2-3 months, they need to be closely monitored for the possibility of cancer. For breast nodules diagnosed as malignant, surgical biopsy is needed to clarify the pathology despite the small size of the nodule. Once a breast nodule appears, especially if it is difficult to distinguish whether it is benign or malignant, please go to the hospital immediately for a comprehensive examination and diagnosis to clarify your health status so that you can be treated effectively.
