How soon can a grade 4 breast nodule become malignant?

Breast nodules diagnosed as bi-rads grade 4 indicate that the nodules have the possibility of malignancy, but the specific time of malignancy is related to the nature of the patient’s nodules and the type of lesion, and cannot be generalized. Breast nodules are common diseases of the breast and can be divided into benign and malignant nodules. The bi-rads grading of breast nodules is mostly the result of ultrasound diagnosis. bi-rads grade 4 indicates that the nodule has the possibility of malignant transformation, where rads grade 4 is further divided into 3 parts, i.e. grades 4a, 4b and 4c. If it is grade 4a and the biopsy is benign, it can be followed up and reviewed. 4a is the degree of malignancy in about 3%-30%. If it is grade 4b or 4c, with the possibility of malignancy, early surgical treatment of the disease combined with postoperative biopsy is required. The possibility of 4b malignancy is 31%-64%, and the possibility of 4c malignancy is 61%-94%. It is recommended that women after the age of 35 should pay attention to annual medical checkups and self-examinations in their daily lives. If you notice any nodules or lumps in your breast, you need to go to the hospital’s breast department in an emergency for early detection and treatment.
