Breast nodules are generally minor surgeries, and recovery time varies slightly between surgical procedures. If there are no complications such as infection after surgery, most patients can go to work and engage in non-manual work after 1 month. Minimally invasive breast surgery or benign tumor excision is less invasive and quicker to recover, so patients can basically return to normal and start working 1-2 weeks after surgery. If the patient’s pathology is malignant after breast nodule surgery, a second surgery is required. In addition, if the patient has an infection after surgery, or if the patient has diabetes and other conditions that affect wound healing, the recovery time after surgery will be relatively longer, and the start of work will be delayed. Patients are advised to avoid heavy physical work or strenuous exercise as much as possible after surgery, to work and rest regularly, and to eat a light diet; to keep a positive and optimistic attitude and to review regularly.
