About cervical cancer screening

  Cervical cancer is the most common gynecological malignancy. The high incidence age for in situ cancer is 30-35 years old and for invasive cancer is 45-55 years old; in recent years, its incidence has a tendency to be younger. Regarding cervical cancer screening, the following should be noted: (1) women are recommended to undergo cervical cancer screening from the age of 21; (2) women aged 21-29 only need to undergo cytology screening every 3 years without HPV testing; (3) women aged 30-65 are first recommended to undergo combined cytology and HPV screening every 5 years or cytology screening every 3 years; (4) women aged 65 and above with normal previous screening can no longer Screening.  (4) Women who have sexual intercourse must be screened regularly for cervical cancer, and early detection of precancerous lesions and effective intervention and treatment can prevent cervical cancer.
