Symptoms of late stage lung cancer include: 1. cough: mostly irritating cough with little sputum or a small amount of white mucous sputum; 2. hemoptysis: mostly bloody sputum or sputum with blood; 3. chest pain: if lung cancer involves the wall pleura or directly invades the chest wall, it can cause persistent pain and fever in the area; 4. Fever is caused by low immunity of tumor patients, which needs anti-infection treatment; infection caused by bronchial obstruction and poor sputum discharge due to tumor compression on bronchi, which needs to relieve bronchial obstruction and anti-tumor and anti-infection treatment at the same time; 5. Chest tightness and shortness of breath; 6. Hoarseness: mostly seen in the central type, or small cell lung cancer is more common, which is caused by tumor invasion to the laryngeal nerve, causing vocal changes.
