Rabies is a disease caused by the rabies virus contained in saliva that infects the body after being bitten by a rabies-infected animal. Patients with rabies actually only show signs of mental abnormality during periods of excitement. However, under normal circumstances, patients with rabies onset do not bark like dogs, and the probability of mental abnormalities is particularly high, mostly manifesting as symptoms of laryngeal spasms and hydrophobia, usually due to fearful symptoms caused by choking when seeing or drinking water. Patients may howl or feel fearful during the excitement phase, but it is not a superficial symptom of barking like people think clinically. Therefore, it is important to keep the patient in as little pain as possible during the onset of rabies.
