Multifunctional shoulder lock fixation belt for shoulder lock dislocation

Dislocation of the acromioclavicular joint is a common clinical trauma. Due to the special anatomical form of the acromioclavicular joint, it is difficult to maintain a firm external fixation after the revision. The author used the self-designed multifunctional shoulder lock fixation belt (national patent, Patent No. ZL 2003 2 011826.5) to treat 16 cases of shoulder lock dislocation, and achieved good results. The currently applied non-surgical repositioning external fixation has many complications and poor efficacy. The main reasons for poor external fixation are: (1) lack of good external fixation methods; (2) few cases, and external fixation devices are not readily available; (3) poor compliance of patients and physicians in follow-up visits. Compared with the traditional shoulder and elbow belt and shoulder and axillary belt, the multi-functional shoulder lock fixation belt has the advantages of moderate elasticity, firm fixation, not easy to loosen, and not easy to produce the traditional fixation belt “slippery shoulder phenomenon”. Because of the felt material and Velcro fastening, it can be suitable for different body sizes and dynamically adjust the tension of the body fixation belt, elastic reinforcement belt and shoulder and elbow elasticity belt to make the fixation firm and convenient and improve the reset effect. The unique crescent-shaped pad in the multifunctional shoulder lock fixation belt has a high profile at both ends, which has a holding force on the clavicle, so it is firmly fixed; its texture and flexibility make the pressure at the fixed clavicle uniform, and the possibility of pressure sores is obviously reduced.
