Common clinical manifestations of oral cancer include nodules and lumps in the oral cavity, ulceration of the mucous membrane, the presence of visible ulcers and inflammation that do not heal for a long time, pain and numbness, and difficulty in speaking and swallowing. Some patients may present with symptoms of metastases to lymph nodes and distant organs in the area of drainage such as the submandibular and neck.
