Liver cancer symptoms are insidious and life-threatening

With the improvement of medical treatment, taking medical checkups has become the chief of entry into various jobs, and liver cancer can be detected physically in some ultrasound examinations. So how exactly should liver cancer be treated when it is detected? Dr. Qin Xinglei said that since liver cancer symptoms are insidious, if symptoms are found, they should be treated in time. Long-term untreated liver cancer may lead to complications such as tumor enlargement, spontaneous tumor rupture, bleeding, peritonitis portal ascites and lower limb edema. When patients present symptoms to the doctor, they mostly belong to late stage of liver cancer. In late stage of liver cancer, according to patients’ physical condition and tumor size, they can choose whether they are suitable for surgery or not. When the tumor does not exceed half of the liver, there is no liver ascites, no tendency of tumor metastasis, and the liver function is good, the patient can choose surgery for resection. When it reaches advanced stage, the tumor is larger and covers the whole liver, the tumor site is special, the patient’s physical condition is poor and cannot be removed at all, radiofrequency ablation, ion irradiation and interventional therapy can be chosen to prolong the patient’s life. Prevention of liver cancer should start from avoiding hepatitis virus. Due to widespread media reports, many people start to worry whether they will unknowingly suffer from liver cancer. Dr. Qin Xinglei pointed out that the erosion of hepatitis can be effectively prevented to a certain extent as long as the erosion of hepatitis is prevented through reasonable diet, adjusting one’s living habits, improving diet and work and rest patterns. Therefore, there is no need to worry too much about whether you are suffering from liver cancer.
