We often see some people with many small pits on their faces, most of which are scarring from severe acne. There are two types of scars left by acne, the most common being depressed scars and the other being hyperplastic scars. For the treatment of depressed scars, skin grinding is traditionally used to treat them. This treatment has been gradually withdrawn from the historical stage due to excessive bleeding and slow recovery. Nowadays, the most advanced treatment method is to use pixel laser treatment. Unlike the traditional grinding method, this method uses laser microporous technology (bait laser) to remodel the dermal collagen to achieve a skin tightening effect and improve the flatness of the skin (unevenness). It also does not bleed after treatment and the recovery is relatively faster and the treatment effect is better, so it is now used more often. For hyperplastic scars, local closure (corticosteroid injection) and/or combination of surgical excision and radiation therapy are traditionally used for treatment, but the results are often not very satisfactory. We can now combine different types of laser treatment to achieve very good results.
