Is right chest pain lung cancer?

Right chest pain is generally not an early symptom of lung cancer. If lung cancer has chest pain, most of them are tumors invading the chest wall or pleura, or tumors metastasizing to the ribs, which can cause chest pain, often suggesting that it is a manifestation of late stage of lung cancer. The more common causes of right-sided chest pain can be: i. Chest injury, such as soft tissue injury of chest wall, rib injury, lung contusion, chronic strain injury, etc. Second, herpes zoster, intercostal neuritis, non-specific costochondritis, etc. III. Pleurisy, pneumonia. IV. Diseases of the upper abdomen, such as subdiaphragmatic abscess or cholecystitis, can present with recurrent radiating right-sided chest pain. V. Tumors of pleural origin, such as mesothelioma, can present with chest pain.
