Does it hurt to have a cesarean section with anesthesia?

I believe many people are aware of the power of labor pains. Caesarean section is a common type of delivery, and in order to reduce the pain felt by the mother, anesthetic is usually injected, which usually does not hurt during the process of anesthesia, although it can be felt. When a caesarean section is performed, an incision is made in the mother’s stomach, so an anesthetic injection is needed to reduce the pain caused by the wound. Generally speaking, you won’t feel any pain during the anesthesia, because the needles used to inject the anesthesia are usually thin and long, plus the pain of the bout is relatively strong, so the pain of the anesthesia is not enough. The lack of pain from the anesthetic is only relative. In fact, the mother-to-be still feels it, but because the injection process is relatively quick, it is usually local anesthesia, which cannot compete with the intense pain brought on by the bouts of pain. However, for some mothers-to-be whose pain nerves are more sensitive, they can still feel the pain of the anesthetic injection. Therefore, the anesthesia of caesarean section will also bring a certain amount of pain, only relatively mild, and the mother-to-be can choose the appropriate delivery method according to her own situation.
