The etiology of hepatic hemangioma is not yet completely clear, which may be related to congenital vascular development abnormality or acquired factors, such as intrahepatic hematoma mechanization, elevated levels of estrogen and progesterone, and so on. 1. Congenital vascular development abnormality: abnormal development of hepatic blood vessels during embryonic period can cause angiomatous proliferation, thus forming hemangioma. 2. Acquired factors: after the hematoma in the liver is mechanized, vascular recanalization can lead to vascular expansion, thus forming hemangioma. When female patients are pregnant or taking contraceptive pills, the level of estrogen and progesterone can be elevated, thus forming hemangioma. Infection of the capillary wall in the liver can lead to dilatation of the wall, resulting in the formation of hemangiomas. It is recommended that patients go to the hospital in time and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
