Cockroaches can transmit bacteria and parasite eggs, molds, viruses, and induce allergic reactions.
1. Bacteria and parasite eggs: Cockroaches can carry more than 40 kinds of disease-causing bacteria, such as plague bacillus, dysentery bacillus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Escherichia coli. Besides, cockroaches can carry many kinds of pathogenic bacteria that cause food poisoning.
2. Molds: such as Penicillium, Aspergillus flavus, Rhizoctonia solani, yeast and so on.
3. Viruses: Cockroaches can carry enterovirus, poliovirus and so on.
4. Allergic reaction: cockroach’s vomit, secretion, excretion, etc., as well as the powder of dried cockroach carcasses, will cause allergic reaction after people’s contact.
Cockroaches have a strong ability to spread and prefer warm and humid places. It is necessary to keep the environment tidy and clean the garbage in order to minimize the reproduction and growth of cockroaches.
