Diagnostic basis of kidney stones

The diagnosis of kidney stones is based on: 1. In terms of medical history or symptoms, if the patient suddenly develops unilateral or bilateral sudden onset of low back pain, progressive aggravation, and accompanied by symptoms such as carnal hematuria and discomfort in urination. If a large number of red blood cells are seen in the urine routine, combined with the history of low back pain, the presence of kidney stones should be considered. 3. To further confirm the diagnosis from the imaging examination, a urinary ultrasound examination can be performed routinely. If the ultrasound is not discernible, further CT examination of the kidney is required. CT can show the location, size and distribution of stones. The presence of kidney stones can be diagnosed by the above three points.
