Sanli of the hand is located in the forearm, 2 inches below the transverse stripe of the elbow, on the line between Yangxi and Quchi. Neiguan is located in the anterior region of the forearm, 2 inches above the transverse stripe on the distal side of the palm of the wrist, between the tendon of the palmaris longus and the tendon of the flexor carpi radialis. Hegu, located on the back of the hand, between the 1st and 2nd metacarpal bones, at the midpoint of the radial side of the second metacarpal bone. It is used for treating fever, headache, redness and swelling of the eyes, epistaxis (nosebleed), hematemesis, sore throat, toothache, deafness, swelling of the face, stroke and silence of the mouth, no sweating in febrile illnesses, excessive sweating, thirst, jaundice, menstrual pain, menstrual closure, and stagnant labor.
