The survival time of cervical cancer after surgery varies and needs to be analyzed according to the stage of cervical cancer and the patient’s recovery after surgery. In case of early or middle stage cervical cancer, after radical cervical cancer treatment with radiotherapy and chemotherapy, the survival time of patients can generally reach 3-5 years, and the 5-year survival rate can reach 70%-80%; if patients are in advanced stage of cervical cancer and can only undergo palliative surgery, the survival time of such patients may be shorter, generally within 3 years, but some patients can survive for 3-5 years. However, some patients may survive for 3 – 5 years. If the patient survives for more than 5 years after surgery without recurrence, the patient’s survival time can reach 10 or even decades. Therefore, postoperative patients with cervical cancer must be actively treated and adjuvant treatments such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy must be adhered to in order to prolong their survival time.
