Is the pain in the left rib cage of a woman likely to be early stage liver cancer?

Liver cancer pain is mainly manifested as right upper abdominal pain, and left rib pain in women is usually not early stage of liver cancer. Many diseases can cause left rib pain in women. It is recommended to seek medical consultation in time to identify the cause of the disease and then treat it. Left rib pain in women is commonly caused by intercostal nerve injury, and the pain often worsens when coughing, breathing or sneezing. Rib fractures can also cause left rib pain. Patients usually have a clear history of trauma, and some patients can feel a sense of friction at the broken end of the ribs, which is generally treated conservatively and, if necessary, surgically. If patients have a history of hepatitis, long-term alcohol consumption or are particularly worried and suspect that they are in the early stage of liver cancer, they can visit the gastroenterology department of the hospital and improve abdominal CT, ultrasound and other examinations to make a clear diagnosis. Because there are more causes of left rib pain in women and it is more difficult to self-judge, it is still recommended to seek medical consultation in time to be judged by professional doctors and then to treat accordingly.
