How are the long and short legs formed?

Long and short feet, as the name implies, means that the feet are not the same length. The cause is usually caused by a subluxation of the sacroiliac joint, but other than that, it is a congenital cause of the length. The specific identification is based on the patient’s medical history and how long the pain and discomfort is when walking, to distinguish which side is painful and which side is short and long, which can often be identified. The human body is a whole, and the sacrococcygeal bone of the spine is closely connected to the iliac bone. A herniated disc in the lumbar spine can lead to long and short feet, and the occurrence of long and short feet can in turn cause long-term stress in the lumbar spine, leading to a herniated disc. Therefore, once a short and long foot is found clinically, it should not be ignored. It is important whether the lumbar pain comes first or the long and short is first. Clinically, it is necessary to both ask the medical history and examine the problems of the lumbar spine to distinguish which is the cause and which is the result. The treatment will be different accordingly, with one being the main cause, and that primary cause will be addressed accordingly. In addition to the long and short feet caused by lumbar spondylosis, it is also related to people’s habits, such as wearing high heels, carrying a backpack on one shoulder, sleeping often side a direction, etc.. Once patients have these bad habits, they tend to have legs that are not the same length to a greater or lesser extent. It’s just that some have heavy symptoms and some have lighter ones. In fact, this is not surprising, because the long-term stress imbalance will lead to the subluxation of the sacroiliac joint. In the clinic, by our long-term observation, we found that patients with lumbar disc herniation and long and short legs caused by sacroiliac joint subluxation, without complete recovery, intimacy with loved ones is very likely to lead to aggravation of the disease. A good number of people do not think so, but in fact there is a great connection between the two. Therefore, if you find walking asymmetry, or limping, etc., do not ignore it, it may be a precursor of long and short feet. Be alert and see a chiropractor first to correct it in time to slow down further aggravation.
