The growth rate of lung cancer brain metastases is generally fast, and the exact degree of fast growth is individualized. Most of them will multiply around 1 to 3 months, which is half of the growth. For single, isolated, or focal brain metastases, they can be surgically removed. For brain metastases that are not surgically resectable, they can be treated with SBRT precision radiotherapy, especially gamma knife radiotherapy to the head. For other extensive brain metastases, systemic treatment methods such as targeted drugs and whole brain irradiation can be used for patients with sensitive genetic mutations.
