How long can you live after liver cancer intervention?

The length of life after hepatocellular carcinoma interventional therapy is closely related to the size of the tumor, clinical stage, patient’s physical condition, whether there are other diseases, etc., and cannot be generalized. If the patient is in early stage of liver cancer, the diameter of tumor tissue is less than 5cm and there is no extra-hepatic metastasis, if the patient’s liver function is good, interventional therapy can directly and effectively kill the whole tumor, while the damage to the body is relatively small, and it can activate and enhance the anti-tumor immune function, so the general 5-year survival rate can reach about 60% and the effect of interventional therapy is more satisfactory. If the patient is already in the advanced stage of liver cancer and distant metastasis has already appeared, the effect of interventional treatment is often not good at this time, but can only minimize the metastasis rate and complications of liver cancer, and the survival period is about one year or less. After hepatocellular carcinoma intervention, patients should review regularly, maintain a positive attitude, adjust their lifestyle, and achieve a healthy diet and sufficient sleep, which are conducive to the recovery of the disease.
