Precautions after cosmetic laser surgery

  1. Immediate skin care will minimize erythema, soothe pain, reduce skin temperature, and avoid discoloration. Immediately after treatment with intense pulsed light, Q-switched Nd:YAG laser, ruby or fractional ruby, apply alkaline fibroblast growth factor (FGF) mask, collagen mask with wet application for 0,5-1 hours, and epidermal growth factor gel. 2. Apply the mask once a night for 3 days after the surgery, and after 3 days, it can be changed to 2-3 times a week as appropriate. 3. If the redness and swelling of the skin is heavy after the operation, a soft hormone cream (such as Ketin Skin) can be applied topically for 3 days, on which a recombinant epidermal growth factor gel or a scalding cream (Mepore moist scalding cream) can be applied. Oral prednisone/methoprene or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents (fenpropathrin, etc.) for 3 days. 4. Avoid sun exposure and strenuous exercise within 1 month after surgery. 5. Avoid intake of spicy and irritating food, photosensitive food or drugs during the postoperative recovery period 6. Avoid skin massage, fumigation, medicinal bath, sauna and other items for 2 weeks after surgery. 7. In order to avoid post-inflammatory discoloration, you should continue to use depigmentation agents (such as Corexit whitening gel, hydroquinone cream, transaminic acid) for 1 month after surgery. 8. There will be some redness and swelling at the skin lesions on the day of treatment, which will disappear naturally in about 24 hours; if the skin is not broken after treatment, you can wash your face, apply skin care products and makeup immediately. If the skin is somewhat red, it is recommended to apply makeup the next day. If there is a thin scab at the skin lesion after treatment, do not pick it with your hand, wait for it to fall off naturally (5-7 days) to avoid scars and pigmentation; individual patients have temporary pigmentation loss or pigmentation after treatment, which will generally return to normal gradually, the time varies from person to person, generally 3-6 months to fade naturally. Very individual needs 2 years. 9.Some diseases (such as erythema nodosum) may cause temporary small blisters or large blisters, try not to break the blisters and wait for natural drying. If the blisters are large, puncture them with a sterile syringe and draw out the water or squeeze it out gently from one side. Once the blister is ruptured, disinfect it regularly (iodophor 1-3 times a day), do not close the bandage, and apply topical scalding cream or gentamycin eye ointment, Bactrim, Listerine, etc. 10.After fractional laser or image beam laser: Immediately apply soft laser (such as Kettin Skin), then apply recombinant epidermal growth factor, apply FGF mask externally and apply cold compress for 0,5-1 hours. Follow up the next day to determine skin recovery. Post-operatively, Ketin Skin was applied twice a day for 3 days. Growth factor 4 times daily, apply for 7 days, mask 1 time daily, apply for 7 days. follow-up after 7 days, if skin tone deepens, apply topical hydroquinone cream, L-VC, whitening gel, tranexamic acid, or perform fruit acid resurfacing 1 time; if redness appears, perform intense pulse light treatment 1 time. 11. Once any condition appears, you should immediately return to the doctor for face-to-face consultation to avoid delaying the condition or taking a detour.
