What are the tests for septic thrombosis?

Septic thrombosis refers to the invasion of septic bacteria into the bloodstream, their proliferation in it, and their spread through the bloodstream to other tissues or organs of the host body, producing new septic lesions. The following tests are generally performed in patients with septic thrombosis: 1. Blood-related tests Such as routine blood tests, liver and kidney functions, electrolytes, calcitoninogen (analysis of evidence of infection), blood gas analysis (metabolic supply and demand of the body), and full DIC (coagulation function may be severely impaired). 2. Pathogenic examination Routinely perform blood (or other body fluids, exudates) and pus culture before antimicrobial drug treatment, isolate pathogenic bacteria and perform drug sensitivity test for precise drug use. 3.Electrocardiogram, X-ray, ultrasound, CT, etc. Doctors will conduct relevant tests according to the patient’s condition, and some tests may be repeated to clarify the cause or monitor the effect of treatment.
