What are the preventive methods for the pill-like movements of the hands?

The rubbing of the hands is one of the clinical manifestations of Parkinson’s syndrome. It is a degenerative disease of the substantia nigra and substantia nigra striata pathways that occurs in adults over middle age. 10% of patients have a family history; some patients can have similar manifestations due to encephalitis, cerebral atherosclerosis, and traumatic brain injury. The cause of Parkinson’s disease is not well understood. It is now recognized that the cause of Parkinson’s disease is degenerative changes of nerve cells, with the main lesions in the substantia nigra and striatum. The gradual decrease in the number of nigrostriatal cells and the gradual loss of their function leads to a decrease in a substance called dopamine, which causes the above symptoms. According to animal studies and epidemiological findings, Parkinson’s disease has a genetic relationship. The symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, such as pill-rubbing tremor, can be effectively improved by actively treating the primary disease. Drug therapy is the most important treatment for Parkinson’s disease. Levodopa preparations are still the most effective drugs. Surgical treatment is an effective complement to pharmacotherapy. Rehabilitation therapy, psychotherapy and good care can also improve symptoms to some extent. The currently applied treatments mainly improve symptoms, but cannot yet stop the progression of the disease. 1, the family history of Parkinson’s disease and related gene carriers, toxic chemical exposure, should be considered as a high-risk groups, must be closely monitored follow-up, regular medical examination, and strengthen health education, pay attention to self-protection. 2, increase the efforts of industrial and agricultural production of environmental protection, reduce the emission of harmful gases, sewage, dirt, harmful workers should strengthen labor protection. 3.Improve the drinking water facilities in rural areas and towns, protect water resources, reduce the pollution of river water, reservoir water, pond water and well water, and ensure that the general public can drink safe and healthy drinking water. 4.The elderly should use phenothiazines, reserpine and butylphenolic drugs with caution.
